Why are my new Instagram posts not showing?

New posts arrive within the hour. To get one straight away, click Sync now on Home. If it still doesn’t show, check the reasons below.

Common reasons

• The next hourly sync hasn’t run yet. → Click Sync now on Home or in Settings.
• Instagram needs reconnecting. → Home shows a red banner. Click Reconnect Instagram.
• New posts arrive hidden. → Hide new posts until I show them is on in Settings. Show the post from Posts → Hidden.
• The feed is full. → A grid shows columns × rows posts. Pinned posts come first, so a new post may be after them. Add a row or unpin a post.
• A hashtag filter is on. → The post’s caption needs that hashtag.
• Your store’s cache. → Reload the page.

Notes

• Note: A new Reel shows its cover picture first and starts playing once it’s copied to your Shopify Files, usually by the next sync.
• Note: Posts you delete or archive on Instagram leave your store at the next sync (it checks your latest 50 posts).
