What happens when I uninstall the app?

Uninstalling removes the feed from your store and cancels Pro. Shopify then asks us to delete your store’s data after 48 hours, and we delete all of it except your store’s address and the date of its free Pro trial, so the trial isn’t offered twice.

Steps

1. In Shopify, go to Settings → Apps.
2. Click ⋯ next to the app and choose Uninstall.
3. Optionally, remove the empty Instagram feed sections in your theme editor.

Notes

• Note: Photos and Reels the app copied to your Shopify Files stay there. Delete them from Content → Files if you don’t need them.
• Note: Reinstalling later starts you on Free. Your free Pro trial isn’t offered again; your posts, tags and settings need setting up again.
• Note: Remove the app from Instagram too, under Instagram → Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites.
