Why is the Zegsu cart drawer not showing on my store?

The cart drawer most often does not show because the Zegsu cart drawer app embed is off or was not saved in your theme editor. The Cart page in the app tells you: you see “The cart drawer is on” when it is on, or a “Turn on the cart drawer” banner when it is off.

Steps

Open the app and go to Cart.
If you see the Turn on the cart drawer banner, click Turn on cart drawer. Your theme editor opens with the embed switched on.
Press Save in the theme editor.
Return to the app and click I’ve done this to refresh the status.
Check that you have clicked Save on the Cart page after any changes.
Open your live store in a new private window, add a product to the cart, and check that the drawer opens.

Notes

Note: The embed must be on in your published (live) theme. If you turned it on in another theme, it will not show on your store.
Note: The drawer opens when a product is added to the cart or the cart icon is clicked. If your theme’s cart icon is built in an unusual way, clicking it may open the theme’s cart page instead. Adding to cart should still open the drawer.
Note: The drawer hides the cart drawer and popup of most themes. If your theme’s own cart popup still appears alongside it, please contact support.
Note: The rewards bar, recommendations and extras only show when they are turned on in the app, and the cart has items.
Note: Recommendations are hidden when there is nothing to suggest. Add products under Your picks so there is always something to show.

Error states

“Turn on the cart drawer” banner → The Zegsu cart drawer app embed is off in your live theme → Click Turn on cart drawer, then Save in the theme editor.
