Which themes does Zegsu Upsell support?
Zegsu Upsell works with Online Store 2.0 themes, which includes Dawn and most themes from the Shopify Theme Store. It adds itself through app embeds and app blocks in your theme editor, so you never edit theme code.
How it fits into your theme
Section titled “How it fits into your theme”- The Zegsu Upsell app embed places the offer widget above your Add to cart button automatically.
- The Quantity breaks app block lets you place the widget by hand on product pages.
- The Zegsu cart drawer app embed replaces your theme’s cart and opens from the cart icon.
- The Recommendations block can be added to any page, including the homepage.
- Note: Older (vintage) themes do not support app blocks. The app embeds may still work, but this is not guaranteed.
- Note: Heavily customised themes, or themes with an unusual product form, may stop the widget from finding the Add to cart button. If this happens, add the Quantity breaks block manually, then contact support.
- Note: If your theme has its own quantity selector, the app hides it by default. You can change this with Hide the theme’s quantity selector on the Settings page.
- Note: To check your theme, open Settings in the app. It shows your theme name and whether the widget is on.
