How do I reconnect Instagram?
Click Reconnect Instagram on the Instagram needs reconnecting banner on Home, or Reconnect in Settings. Log in to the same Instagram account and allow access. Syncing starts again straight away.
- Open the app. On Home, click Reconnect Instagram in the red banner. You can also use Settings → Instagram accounts → Reconnect.
- Log in to the same Instagram account. If you connected through a Facebook Page, you log in to Facebook instead.
- Allow access to your profile and posts.
- On Confirm Instagram account, click Connect @yourname.
- You see Instagram connected. Your latest posts are in.
- Note: Your feed keeps showing your last posts while Instagram is disconnected. It never goes blank.
- Note: Reconnecting keeps all your tags, pins and hidden posts.
- Note: The app renews its access to Instagram on its own while you’re connected. You only need to reconnect if Instagram removes access, for example after a password change.
